HELI
SURVEYS was
formed when Colin Depagter and Carl Bruce took
over Helicopter Aerial Surveys
in March 2003.
Extensive research and investment has been
made over the years with the aim of building
a more complete, integrated and useful series
of services. To take fire management as an
example of this integration, Helisurveys has
the equipment to light control fires, (Premo
MKIII incendiary fire lighter) to map fires,
( FLIR and Vdata mapping system) and to suppress
fires (Bambi Bucket system).
AERIAL SURVEY AND MAPPING.
One of the most regular tasks performed by our company include survey and mapping of anything from weeds to wild horses. Using GPS interfaced with Vdata mapping systems and trancet bars accurate maps and head counts can be made for assisting land managers in a range of activities.
